Recording myself read one of my stories, a piece I started writing in Honolulu and plan to use in my MFA thesis. Why was I doing this? Because this audio, along with the text of the story, will be included in the first issue of Raft, a new online literary magazine, which is coming out in October!

The WiiWare title grabs my attention for being small and airy (pun intended) and yet surprisingly real, while Bolaño's posthumous tome is dense, strangely visceral, and feels like an ocean of surreality must be just over the horizon.
