The End is Nigh - Wow Trial: Day 9

Tomorrow is my last day in WoW. I've saved the day for a massive trip to Warsong Gulch to really see what PvP is like. It remains to be seen whether I'll enjoy it as much as rushing to defend my fellow Night Elves in Darnassus from wayward Horde ruffians.

While I'll be taking some time to sum up my thoughts on the whole experience on Monday, since I'll be doing PvP tomorrow, I'd like to take this opportunity to show you my dudes.

Zeron
: My Tauren Warrior has been my backup character - the one I play when the server my other character is on is full. He normally uses a tomahawk and shield instead of the walking stick he has right now. Last time I checked, he was completing quests near Undercity, the Undead capital. He's fun to play but so big! Walking around with him in Ratchet, the goblin town, is an excercise in overcoming claustrophobia.

Dondward: My Night Elf Druid, my main character, apparently has the destinction of being the only character with his name across all servers (a.k.a. Realms). I've enjoyed playing him enormously, and were I going to continue with the game, I'd probably make getting him to level 60 (highest in the main game), my priority. When he's not bashing murlocs with his oakthrush staff, he's usually cooking up some clam chowder, picking herbs in the woods (and tryin to avoid the rabid bears!), or mixing exotic potions. He will be missed.

(FYI, in case you're wondering about the names, those two were the names of a couple of the very first D&D characters I ever created, back in junior high. One was a fighter, the other a druid, both human. Both their character sheets, assuming I still have them, are probably lying around the bottom of a file cabinet back in Michigan.)
